About Equippd
Founded with a mission to close the wealth gap and create pathways to financial freedom for the Black community.
We believe that access to knowledge, resources, and mentorship can transform lives and create lasting generational wealth.
Our Story
Equippd was born from a simple observation: many high-income skills and industries remain inaccessible to Black communities due to lack of information, resources, and representation.
The Problem
Despite having the desire and capability to succeed in lucrative fields, many in the Black community lack access to:
- •Clear roadmaps to enter high-paying industries without formal education
- •Mentorship from those who have succeeded in these fields
- •Resources tailored to overcome unique barriers
- •Community support to navigate challenges
This information gap perpetuates economic inequality and limits generational wealth building.
Our Solution
Equippd serves as a central hub that:
- •Provides step-by-step roadmaps to enter high-income fields
- •Curates the best resources, tools, and learning materials
- •Connects aspiring professionals with mentors and communities
- •Offers personalized consulting to accelerate progress
By democratizing access to this knowledge, we're empowering individuals to create sustainable wealth for themselves and future generations.

Economic Empowerment

Meet the Founder
Mr. Equippd
Founder & CEO
After navigating his way from a low-income background to a fully-funded HBCU degree, our founder has amassed over three years of a wide berth of hands-on experiences across the tech industry, working across some of the world’s top tech companies — gaining deep insight into how technology can either widen or close the gap in opportunity.
Now a Master’s candidate in Technology Management at Columbia University, he's driven by a singular mission: to bridge the socioeconomic divide for the Black community through access to high-income, high-impact skillsets — no degree required.
That passion gave birth to EQUIPPD, a platform built to empower Black individuals with the knowledge, tools, and roadmaps to break into industries that build generational wealth — from tech and trades to entrepreneurship and digital creation.
He believes that equity starts with information, and that a future where Black communities thrive economically isn’t just possible — it’s inevitable, as long as we’re equipped.
